  • Regarding My Morrowind Blog.

If you like morrowind or want incredibly detailed games that go on and on, gothic II is pretty okay (but not nearly as cool of course) and the original deus ex is a must-have.  That is perhaps the only game I've played that has an amount of content and complexity comparable to morrowind.

How do these people even make games this frigging big?

My friend loves Deus Ex. I am more of a Rainbow 6 / Quake kind of guy. Never played morrowwind.

They have a lot of time and a lot of ideas. I don't like spending that much time in-game for anything though. I get bored far too easily, no matter the genre. Even the most viscerally fulfilling or mentally challenging games outlive their usefulness to me eventually, only finding their saving grace in online and cooperative play. Truly, I think that if any game should be of that length, that it should have a radical shift in the type of gameplay.
